The SCA is a re-enactment society which strives to emulate the Middle Ages and Renaissance as they should have been. There are several awards that confer membership into SCA-wide orders. The Order of the Laurel and the Order of the Pelican are two of the three largest orders and have their own symbols to denote members.

Order of the Laurel Circlet
Overlapping laurel leaves flow towards the center across this wide circlet. This is the traditional symbol for the Order of the Laurel, given for Arts & Sciences mastery in the SCA.
Circlets are available in three widths: narrow (approx.1/2 inch), wide (approx. 3/4 inch) and extra wide (approx. 1 inch). Note: Not all patterns are available in all widths. Circlets are approximately 22 inches in length and open in the back for adjustability. Each end is drilled to accept ties. Shorter lengths available upon request.

Pelican Circlet
This circlet features a central Pelican motif flanked by alternating drops and feathers. This is the traditional symbol of the Order of the Pelican, given for service above and beyond in the SCA.
Circlets are available in three widths: narrow (approx.1/2 inch), wide (approx. 3/4 inch) and extra wide (approx. 1 inch). Note: Not all patterns are available in all widths.
